Overview

This project had three objectives:

  1. Create a prototype using VR in Unreal.

  1. Experiment with mechanics for VR.

  2. Practice coding using Unreals Blueprints.

Approch

I began the project by setting up my VR headset in Unreal Engine, ensuring the height perception and controls were optimized for an immersive and responsive user experience.


Next, I took the initiative to brainstorm and document innovative mechanics that expanded on existing in-engine functionality, carefully integrating these ideas into the project framework.


From there, I designed, tested, and refined each mechanic iteratively, applying user feedback and performance assessments to deliver polished and engaging gameplay features.
